Clucking hen - chick - behaviour

The chicks are able to approach higher located places after the first week of life. This is how they train their flight muscles and achieve the necessary coordination. Even though their behaviour patterns are still imperfect, the chicks already show grooming, sun and dust bathing behaviour.
