General needs

In addition the following should be taken into consideration by the owner:

no single-housing, keeping of chicken in groups only, to allow social behaviour
creation of seperated functional areas (resting, feeding, activity)
sufficient feeding places – feedingplace relation 1:1
daylight, darkening during nighttime
sufficient fresh air but no draft
permanent access to a good structured outside area with different shelter possibilities such as trees and bushes
