Another feeding system is the pan feeding, which allows the chicken a better circulation in the barn due to its design. Adversely a high amount of fine feeding particles accumulate on the ground of the trough which are neglected by the chicken. Also the feeding place can be defended in a much better way, why a higher feeding place ratio should be offered.
