Pet rabbits

The enclosure and its elements, i.e., equipment, must be kept clean and dry. Areas that are used for defecation and urination must be cleaned daily.

 

Caretakers should monitor their animals’ behaviour, body posture, food intake, faeces consistency, and urination daily. In addition, weight, coat, skin, teeth, ears, nose, eyes, paws, claws, and the anal region should be checked regularly. In case of signs of illness or injury, a veterinarian should always be consulted.
