Feeding

Adequate feeding is part of species-appropriate husbandry. Therefore:

•     the animals must be supplied optimaly with nutritive substances and energy
•     also roughage and grains in the litter belong to a species-appropriate husbandry
•     a continuously available drinking system (even during winter) is essential
•     the feeding belt should run several times everyday (approx. 8 x).
