Husbandry systems need to be animal and human –friendly, the latter meaning:
- barns should be designed in a way, that allows an efficient fulfilment of work
- barns should fulfil the requirements for a pleasant place of work
- A barn often persists for lifetime. Therefore plan in a sustainable manner.
