Gnawing

Rabbits are highly motivated to gnaw. Gnawing occurs in the context of foraging and feeding, exploratory behaviour, and during the digging of burrows (for instance, when roots have to be bitten through). It also serves the abrasion of teeth and thus the maintenance of dental health.
