Pet rabbits

Species-appropriate keeping of pet rabbits requires sufficient floor space and roaming possibilities, structured areas as well as resting and retreat areas, contact to conspecifics, enrichment including gnawing possibilities, scratching and digging possibilities, species-appropriate feeding including permanent access to roughage of good quality and drinking water, day light, and animal-friendly, calm handling (see also general requirements).
